Everything you need to know about Heritage Montessori Academy
Montessori education is a child-centered approach that encourages independence, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Unlike traditional schools with rigid schedules and teacher-led lessons, Montessori classrooms allow children to learn at their own pace, explore subjects deeply, and develop a love for lifelong learning.
We welcome children from infants (6 weeks) through elementary levels, depending on the program. Each classroom is carefully designed to meet the developmental needs of specific age groups.
Enrollment is open year-round as space allows. Families can join at any time, and our staff helps each new student transition smoothly into the classroom community.
Our standard hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexible before-school and after-school care available to support busy families. Extended care includes supervised activities in a safe, nurturing environment.
Class sizes are intentionally small to ensure individualized attention. Ratios vary by program but generally range from 1:4 in infant rooms to 1:12 in older groups.

Montessori education nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Children build independence, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence, all while developing a strong academic foundation.
Our curriculum includes practical life skills, language, math, science, geography, cultural studies, and the arts. We also integrate foreign languages, STEAM activities, and physical education.
Teachers carefully observe and document each child's growth. Progress is shared through detailed reports, parent conferences, and portfolios that highlight individual achievements.
